Dr. Jeremy Johnson, Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Johnson, President and Founder of Esteemed Psychology Services, PLLC, is a New York State licensed Psychologist with over 10 years experience.  Upon graduating Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Sociology, Dr. Johnson pursued a Masters and Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) at Carlos Albizu University in Miami, FL.  A member of the American Psychological Associate (APA) and New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA), Dr. Johnson has practiced amongst diverse populations in many capacities.  

Dr. Johnson began his career at Upstate Medical University as a research assistant participating in child ADHD studies.  He then moved on to practicing individual and group psychotherapy with varied populations at multiple facilities, including the Federal Bureau of Prisons, in Miami, FL.  After completing his Doctoral studies, Dr. Johnson returned home to New York where he was accepted as a member of the APA accredited Internship Program at MercyFirst, a not-for-profit child welfare agency.  Upon completion, Dr. Johnson was promoted to Clinical Coordinator where he managed all clinical services for adolescent residents.  Finally, in 2012, Dr. Johnson settled with his family in the Hudson Valley and launched Esteemed Psychology Services with hopes to improve the overall mental health of the community.
